Give Back to Move Forward Giving Day 2025

MATCH DAY 2025 IS HERE!!!!

We would like to thank everyone who has donated to our Society in the past and encourage them to help support our Society by donating again this year.

Donations in the past years have helped to purchase new computers, a copier and bookcases. This year’s donations will go towards upgrading our old interior lighting, building maintenance and the day-to-day expenses of our non-profit organization and library.

The 5th annual Give Back to Move Forward Giving Day will be Friday, May 23, to Saturday, May 24, 2025. On these days, donations made through the Hiawatha Community Foundation to participating nonprofit funds will receive a 100% match. This match is eligible for all donations. Each organization is eligible for up to $2,000 in matching funds.

For example, if a donor gives $1,000 to organization X, that organization will receive a $1,000 match.

This year’s Giving Day will span from May 23rd through May 24th. Gifts of checks, cash, and credit cards are accepted at the event. There are many ways to get involved and make your gift:

● Match Day Reception – Friday, May 23, from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Fisher Community Center (201 E Iowa St)

Light snacks and beverages will be provided

● Match Day Event – Saturday, May 24, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fisher Community Center (201 E Iowa St)

Breakfast is being offered by the Country Cabin Food Truck beginning at 8:00.
They are donating 10% of their sales to be used for the match!

● Online giving will begin Friday, May 23rd, from midnight through the end of the day on May 24th at www.GiveBackToMoveForward.com

● Check donations should be mailed to HCF, PO Box 173, Hiawatha, KS 66434. Donations made by mail must be postmarked on or before 5/24 and received by 5/28 to be included in the match. Mailed donations must include the completed giving form to qualify for a match.
